Review the Batman (2022): the Best Batman Movie Ever Made

Wait, what? have you forgotten that Nolan's TDK Trilogy existed? How can you be so sure that the Batman is the best Batman movie? Calm down, babe, I'm a Nolan's TDK Trilogy lover too, but I'm gonna list some reasons why I have the guts and confidence to write that title :) 

As TDK Trilogy ended, fans were demanding WB to maintain the tone Nolan had already offered in TDK Trilogy; badass, gritty, and dark. WB as the production house might grant fans' wishes by giving them a badass, super badass if I may say, Batman played by Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman. A Batman who was capable of kicking his enemies' ass so hard. Hold on, although many fans loved him as Bruce Wayne, we all know that DCEU movies created by Zack Snyder was considered a failure. The Snyder verse was cancelled as Justice League (2017) flopped, and DC fans could no longer hope another story or movie from the universe anymore. Fans were then shocked knowing that Matt Reeves' Batman with Ben Affleck still as Bruce Wayne was cancelled, and surprisingly he was replaced by Robert Pattinson. Wait, you mean the handsome vampire from Twilight? yes! Hey pals, I know what you are thinking when you heard the news for the first time, because we probably had the same reaction :) How can a brutal and badass superhero like Batman would be played by a heartthrob, softie, and sexy Robert Pattinson.

Time went by and now we can watch the Batman which was released on March 4. And to be honest, I was really surprised to see Mr., Pattinson in a bat cowl. HE IS BADASS, BRUTAL, AND STILL HANDSOME :) ok now I want to review the whole movie and how Mr. Pattinson and his co-star, Ms. Zoe Kravitz captivated our hearts fully and deeply. 

Batman 2022 exceeded my expectations from start to finish. It was beyond awesome, I love how the director, Matt Reeves gave us many puzzles and riddles to find out who the real villain, the Riddler, was. Throughout the movie, Batman and Jim Gordon tried to solve the clues and questions. This movie showed the reasons why Batman was called world's best detective. He could team up with Gordon to find out the Riddler. In this movie, Bruce also showed that he head fears, fears of losing the one he really loved and cared about, Alfred, his assistant who had always been taking care of him since his parents were murdered. In other words, in this movie, we can see a more humanistic Bruce Wayne. The plot was developed well, there were almost no plot holes. The tone, it was dark and emotional. It still got TDK vibes in it. And it was so cool! The fighting and destruction scenes were also badass! Batman was still brutal and full of energy. The fact that Pattinson also mentioned silat as part of his martial arts training for this movie, mesmerized me more. However, I have to admit that I still love Bale's batmobile more compared to Pattinson's batmobile, but that's okay. I also love how Pattinson could deliver Bruce character who was sad, painful, but still hopeful at the same time. Bale was great as Batman and Bruce Wayne, but now I love Pattinson more both as the Bat and Bruce, sorry Bale :) Ah ya, don't forget, Ms. Zoe Kravitz who played Catwoman also nailed the role. She could build a good and deep connection with Mr. Pattinson. Her acting and actions as Selina Kyle/Catwoman were sublime! they matched each other, and they were undoubtedly, one of DC's most loved couples. 

Overall, I really hope that WB considers giving the Batman a sequel or even a trilogy. And from some aspects that I could see from this move, this is hands down the best Batman movie I have watched. A solid 10/10 for this movie, which also means PERFECTION! 

I think I need to watch this movie again, again, and again.
