Zack Snyder's Justice League: The Epitome of Hope, Friendship, Trust, and Sacrifice

It's all about hope, sacrifice, friendship, love, family, and trust. 

Finally, what DC fans are really expecting can come true. Yeah, it's none other than Zack Snyder's Justice League or ZSJL. Since "the failure" of 2017's Justice League, fans demanded Warner Bros Studio to release Zack Snyder's cut. The fans believed that the theatrical cut was not originally from the director, Zack Snyder. Instead, many of its scenes were cut off and reshot by Joss Whedon, the director that replaced Zack's position as Justice League's director after Zack left the project. It was strengthened by the number of spoilers and Easter eggs Zack Snyder posted on his Vero account. Fans got enraged and campaigned "Release the Snyder Cut". The campaign was massively supported by DC fans around the world. "It seems impossible until it's done" proverb describes ZSJL best. The efforts of the fans, actors, and Zack Snyder came to fruition that finally HBO Max agreed to broadcast and release the Snyder Cut. Fans were so hyped and excited, what they were fighting for were not in vain. Finally the Snyder Cut could be released. 

THE JUSTICE LEAGUE

Compared to 2017's JL, ZSJL was darker, more badass, and mature. There were more than one villain in this movie, and it was shown clearly in ZSJL, different from 2017 version where the only villain that appeared was Steppenwolf. ZSJL clearly depicted the presence of Darkseid, DeSaad and Granny Goodness, while Steppenwolf was only the right hand of Darkseid that tried to find and synchronize the mother boxes. Next, it was the presence of Cyborg's origin story that also made ZSJL so different than 2017 version. Cyborg a.k.a. Victor Stone was the heart of ZSJL. Snyder put him as one of the main focuses in this movie. Unfortunately, it didn't make the cut to the theatrical release. Many dialogues and scenes also changed a lot. For example, the famous "You smell good' said by Lois Lane to Clark Kent was changed into "You spoke" when Clark Kent was resurrected from his death and flew with Lois.

The presence of some important characters also need to be highlighted. Ryan Choi a.k.a The Atom was removed from the theatrical cut, while in ZSJL he got a lot of portions, and he even became the head of STAR lab at the end of the story. Iris West, Barry Allen's love interest, who also had no place in Joss Whedon's JL, got a chance to appear in ZSJL. And, the fans must not miss the appearance of Superman with his black suit after he was resurrected. In the movie, he took some time to fully understand who he was, and why he was resurrected. He also looked more like an alien compared to the previous version. For the ending, it is completely different. You better watch it yourself :) coz there are still so many differences that this movie could tell. All I can say, this is a thousand times better than 2017's Justice League, sorry but I try to be honest :) 

THE FIGHTING SCENES WERE SO SICK!

Moreover, to me, this is the best DCEU movie so far. I repeat, the BEST. Mr Snyder is such a genius. His story board for Snyder verse has been leaked since the release of BvS. And it could be seen that he had already planned a story, a universe, a world for DCEU, but not everything went as expected. His version of JL was chopped off and replaced by Joss Whedon's JL (Gosh I wish I hadn't watched that version 😭). Fans got really angry and demanded the studio to release it. Thanks, God!

So, this 4-hour movie has everything that DC fans wanna see in a DCEU movie. The effects, the settings, the fighting scenes, the story, the cinematography, the plot, the music, and many more aspects, are top notch and beyond comparison. The character development was beyond awesome. I would mention Cyborg played by Ray Fisher as the spotlight in this movie. His character was portrayed really well. You will see his background story, origin, and struggle. He struggled a lot, and it was depicted vividly and beautifully in this movie. Next, my eyes have also been to the Flash. Ezra Miller has everything someone needs to be the Flash. He made the character so fresh and alive.

ZSJL HAS A GREAT DEVELOPMENT CHARACTER

The last but not least, CLARK KENT...HEY CLARK, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EMOTIONAL I WAS WHEN YOU GOT RESURRECTED. When you flew and there was a MoS theme song, I couldn't hold back my tears (My close friends knew how impactful MoS is to my life). The romance was still here, Lois and Clark, and it got deeper and deeper, you will know why ;) btw congratz to you both 💞

Okay the last, the ending, IT IS A MASSIVE CLIFFHANGER, AND WE MUST HAVE JL 2 OR EVEN JL 3. To understand the story better you need to watch Man of Steel (2013) and Batman v Superman (2016). I can sum up the messages in those three movies would be; Man of Steel: sacrifice and hope, Batman v Superman: trust and friendship, and Zack Snyder's Justice League: something big that has not happened before in the entire cinematic universe.
